As Valentine’s Day approaches, I love to create a countdown that not only builds excitement for the holiday but also teaches my kids about God’s unconditional love!
This Valentines Countdown scavenger hunt is simple and fun, and could be re-created in many different ways with a few creative ideas.
As a twist of what the world focuses on for Valentines Day, I wanted to focus on Godβs Perfect Love, because knowing this makes ALL the difference in my own life.
I hope to instill in my children a deep understanding of God’s unwavering and limitless love for each one of us.
How I use the Valentine Countdown Printable
We created this beautiful “GOD IS LOVE” Valentine’s craft day by day, as my boys searched for a new characteristic of God’s Love. I would set out the heart every night so that my sons would wake up to find a new one in the morning. They love scavenger hunts around here, so they looked forward to this every morning leading up to Valentines Day!
