Hey, my name is Dawn! I am a Holy Spirit-led Christian writer asking the Lord to speak through me. Years ago the Lord impressed on my heart to “WRITE IT DOWN”, everything He speaks to me. Many times I am compelled to copy down a one-liner that ends up being a whole word.. and as I look back I am amazed at what God is teaching me, through my own words. God is so cool, He keeps surprising me! I began blogging these “inspirations” because Facebook was not the environment for a 500 word outpouring about the deep things of God (Haha 🤣) So, I started a blog called Abide & Shine, about an aspiring Proverbs 31 Virtuous Woman, living supernatural life empowered by the Holy Spirit of God.
Jesus has truly redeemed my life from destruction, and I have been brought from the kingdom of darkness, into the Kingdom of God’s Pure & Perfect Light!!
I am a homeschooling momma raising 2 young boys for the glory of God, a praying wife of 8 years, and an aspiring Proverbs 31 Woman for the past 11 years!

I LOVE GOD’S WORD!
The scriptures that we read and quote are not just words on a page, but they are LIVING AND ACTIVE, just as Hebrews 4:12 tell us.
When read in faith, the TRUTHS of God’s Word can be applied to our lives .. then we can allow it to change our minds, transform our hearts and bring hope to situations in our lives.
My devotion is to the whole counsel of scripture, and all the TRUTHS God has given to us to live a holy and set apart life, for His glory!
I am a bit of a STRONGS Concordance geek 🤓📖so I love bringing the Word of God to life in my understanding with the Greek & Hebrew. (which can generally be found salt and peppered throughout my writings) I love “uncovering” words the way GOD INTENDED for them to be defined. It’s amazing what we learn when we do a little digging!
What I feel called to:
My greatest prayer is that people would see the radiance of Jesus Christ shining from the Sons and daughters of God!! The more we ABIDE in the love and presence of God, the brighter we SHINE His light!!
Romans 8:18-21 tells us that all of creation eagerly waits for the CHILDREN OF GOD to realize who we are in Christ!
I hope to be able to provide Bible study resources and free printables to help others fall more and more in love with Jesus Christ and learn practical ways to hide God’s Word deep within their hearts! 💜
