Who else LOVES to read books and fill their minds with knowledge that will allow them to learn and grow!!? Here is some of my favorite books worth reading below:
I’ve been getting lost in books since I was a little girl. My fingers would be flipping pages and my eyes would be reading black words on white paper, but in my mind, a whole movie was playing out. Books have this amazing ability to take our minds on adventures and paint a picture with every word we read.
I love to read Bible-based books that teach me Truths that will lead me into a deeper relationship with Jesus. So, my mind still paints a picture, but now it’s the image of the heart that pleases God. I surrender to the molding and shaping from the Potter because I know God is creating beautiful things in His children.
Knowledge Really Is Power!
When we trade a lie, we’ve been believing for God’s Truth, we will find freedom in our hearts and lives. John 8:32 tells us that “we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free.” Notice that it’s the TRUTH THAT WE KNOW that sets us free!! Hallelujah! This is why I enjoy reading so much! I want to grow in God’s Truths!
God wants us to learn and grow into the men and women He created us to be. The plans of God will be fulfilled in our lives when we learn the truth and surrender to Gods molding us into the person, He already sees us to be. Isn’t it powerful to know that God already sees that person deep within us and is leading us into becoming that person? Let’s grow into all that God has destined for us to be, with the eternal Truths found in His Holy Word!
